Kids stories

In the Spirit Garden, Lady Quiet Bottom helps a worried Princess bring the lost colors back, even when a grumpy Sorcerer says it is too bright. With tiny dots of color and a gentle new wand, the garden glows again.
Lady Quiet Bottom and the Colors of Spirit Garden

In the Spirit Garden, soft leaves went shh-shh. Little lights blinked like sleepy stars.

Lady Quiet Bottom was a fairy. She was small and gentle. She liked to listen more than she talked. But she was brave, even when her voice felt tiny.

A Princess walked on the moss path. Her crown was shiny. Her eyes were worried.

“Hello,” said the Princess.

Lady Quiet Bottom bowed. “Hello,” she whispered.

The Princess held up a plain, empty ribbon. “My garden ribbon lost its colors,” she said. “Now the Spirit Garden looks gray. Can you help?”

Lady Quiet Bottom nodded. “We can bring the colors back.”

They went to the Blue Pond. But the pond was dull.

A Sorcerer stood by a stone. His cloak was dark like a rainy cloud.

“I took the colors,” he grumbled. “Too bright. Too loud.”

Lady Quiet Bottom did not shout. She did not stomp. She fluttered closer.

“Are you scared of bright?” she asked softly.

The Sorcerer blinked. “Maybe,” he said.

The Princess crossed her arms. “But we need them!”

Lady Quiet Bottom touched the Princess’s hand. “Gentle,” she whispered.

Lady Quiet Bottom looked at the pond. She took a deep breath. “Little color, come back,” she said.

Nothing.

Her wings drooped. She felt small.

Then she noticed a tiny pebble. It had a speck of blue, like a crumb of sky.

“Look!” she said.

The Princess leaned in. “A blue dot!”

Lady Quiet Bottom smiled. “We can find more dots.”

They tip-toed through the Spirit Garden. Under a fern: one red dot. On a leaf: one yellow dot. Inside a flower cup: one green dot.

They put the dots into the Princess’s ribbon. The ribbon began to glow.

The Sorcerer followed, quiet now. “You are not loud,” he said. “You are… steady.”

Lady Quiet Bottom nodded. “Colors can be calm,” she whispered. “Like a sunset. Like a sleepy rose.”

The Sorcerer rubbed his eyes. “I miss sunsets,” he said.

Lady Quiet Bottom held out the glowing ribbon. “Help us,” she said.

The Sorcerer hesitated. Then he lifted his hand. “All right,” he sighed.

He opened his fist. Out floated a swirl of colors, like soft paint in the air. Blue, red, yellow, green, and purple twirled and danced.

The Spirit Garden drank them up.

The pond turned bright blue. The flowers popped pink. The trees wore green again.

The Princess clapped. “We did it!”

The Sorcerer looked surprised. “It is… nice,” he admitted.

Lady Quiet Bottom giggled, a tiny sound. “Nice and not too loud.”

The Princess hugged her. “Thank you, Lady Quiet Bottom.”

Then the Princess opened a small box. Inside was a treasure: a little wand with a bell on top.

“For you,” said the Princess. “A Quiet Bell Wand. It makes gentle magic.”

Lady Quiet Bottom held it. Ding. A soft ring.

A new path appeared, made of glowing petals.

Lady Quiet Bottom’s eyes widened. “I can make paths,” she whispered.

The Princess smiled. “A brave fairy with quiet magic.”

The Sorcerer gave a small bow. “I will keep the garden bright,” he said.

Lady Quiet Bottom flew over the Spirit Garden. Colors sparkled below. Her new wand chimed softly.

And everything felt safe, warm, and bright.
