In a bright Kingdom full of tall towers there lived a gentle hero named Captain Bubbie.
Captain Bubbie wore a shiny blue cape and a star on the chest.
He liked to help people and to make them smile.
One warm morning the King called the hero to the throne room.
The King wore a golden crown that shone in the sunlight.
The King looked worried and sad on his grand throne.
Captain Bubbie bowed low and asked, “Your Majesty, what is wrong?”
The King sighed and said, “Oh, dear Bubbie, the sungem is lost today.”
“The sungem gives our castle warm golden light at dawn each day.”
“If the sungem stays lost the castle will stay dark and cold.”
Captain Bubbie’s eyes grew wide and he wanted to help.
Just then a calm Samurai stepped forward with a gentle bow.
The Samurai wore a small wooden sword at the waist.
The Samurai was known for calm strength and wise advice.
“I will help you search,” said the Samurai in a soft voice.
Next came the Relic Keeper with a large leather bag.
The Relic Keeper was kind and very careful with treasures.
She had silver hair and a bright smile on her face.
“I guard old treasures,” she said, “and I know many secret places.”
Together the friends studied the sungem map on a golden table.
The map showed a forest glade and a hollow tree trunk.
But part of the map was torn away by windy weather.
The edge of the map fluttered and a clue was missing.
Just then a sneaky Bounty Hunter crept near the castle walls.
The Bounty Hunter wore a dark mask and sharp boots.
He wanted to find the sungem and sell it for gold.
The Bounty Hunter grabbed the sungem map and ran away fast.
“Stop him!” shouted the King, as Captain Bubbie chased the thief.
Captain Bubbie ran with small quick steps across the green lawn.
The Samurai leaped forward in smooth calm motion to help.
The Relic Keeper ran behind with careful steady pace.
Soon they reached the edge of the forest near a small stream.
The stream bubbled and sparkled in the sunshine like tiny stars.
Captain Bubbie followed the tracks left by the Bounty Hunter.
The Samurai listened to the birds for any secret sounds.
The Relic Keeper looked for fallen leaves that showed the way.
They found the torn piece of map stuck under a rock.
Captain Bubbie picked it up and smiled with joy.
But they still needed the sungem to finish the quest.
They heard a rustle in the tall green grass.
Out popped a playful rabbit with long floppy ears.
The rabbit sniffed the map and hopped away quickly.
“Wait!” called Captain Bubbie, “Can you show us the way?”
The rabbit twitched its nose and led them past a thorn bush.
Soon they saw a dark cave by a rocky hill.
The cave mouth looked wide and a little bit scary.
They held hands and walked in carefully side by side.
Inside the cave the walls glowed with tiny glowing mushrooms.
They shone softly like little lanterns in the dark.
In the center of the cave lay the sungem on a cold stone.
Captain Bubbie rushed forward but a shadow blocked the path.
It was the sneaky Bounty Hunter holding the sungem high.
The Bounty Hunter laughed, “You are too small to stop me!”
Captain Bubbie felt small but he felt strong inside.
He stood tall and said, “We will work with friends, and we will win!”
The Samurai stepped forward with calm strength and bowed low.
The Relic Keeper whispered a magic word and the mushrooms glowed brighter.
The light surprised the Bounty Hunter and he stumbled and dropped the sungem.
Captain Bubbie caught it gently and hoisted it high above his head.
“We got it!” cheered Captain Bubbie with a happy heart.
Outside the cave the sun began to dip toward the hills.
They rushed back through the stream and the grass and the trees.
The rabbit hopped along beside them, happy to join the fun.
When they reached the castle the halls were still dim and calm.
Captain Bubbie placed the sungem back in its golden spot.
The sungem glowed bright and warm and golden again.
Light poured through every window and filled each tiny corner.
The King smiled wide and said, “Thank you, brave friends!”
The King gave each helper a special medal of honor.
Then the castle chefs brought out sweet berries and warm bread.
They shared a happy picnic under a big blue sky.
They laughed and sang and felt proud of their teamwork.
“Together we can do anything,” said Captain Bubbie softly.
The Samurai nodded and said, “Calm strength and friendship win.”
The Relic Keeper said, “Our teamwork brought the sungem back home.”
Even the playful rabbit hopped in a happy dance.
As the moon rose above the towers Captain Bubbie yawned.
It had been a long and exciting day of wonder.
“Time to rest,” said the King from his grand golden chair.
Captain Bubbie smiled and closed his eyes with a happy sigh.
The castle shone bright through the night like a cozy home.
All was peaceful in the Kingdom with the sungem shining.
And everyone learned that small heroes and kind hearts can save the day.
