In a bright Castle, a little Ballerina lived. Her name was Splash splash time with mommy. She wore soft pink shoes. She liked to twirl, slow and careful. Sometimes she felt shy. But she also felt brave inside.
Today, she held Mommy’s hand. “Splash splash time,” Mommy said.
“Splash!” Splash splash time with mommy whispered, smiling.
A Teddy Bear sat on the step. Teddy Bear was fluffy and wise. He listened well. He was also very funny.
“Where are you going?” Teddy Bear asked.
“To the bath room in the Castle,” Mommy said.
Teddy Bear gasped. “Oh! The bubbles live there!”
Splash splash time with mommy giggled. “Bub-bles.”
They walked down a long hall. The Castle had shiny floors. Their steps went tap tap tap.
Then—bonk!
A Toy rolled into the hall. Toy was a little wind-up duck. Toy said, “Quack-quack! Mine!”
The duck had a small golden key tied with a ribbon.
Mommy looked. “That is the Bath Key,” she said. “It opens the warm water.”
Splash splash time with mommy blinked. No key, no splash.
Teddy Bear leaned close. “Toy likes to grab. But Toy also likes to play. We can fix this.”
Splash splash time with mommy took a tiny breath. “Hi, Toy,” she said softly.
Toy spun in a circle. “Quack! No!”
Splash splash time with mommy did a little ballerina bow. Then she did a tiny twirl. One, two—stop.
Teddy Bear clapped. “Bravo!” he said. “Toy, can you twirl too?”
Toy wiggled. “Twirl?”
Mommy smiled. “One little twirl,” she said.
Toy tried. The wind-up duck went whirr-whirr and turned. It bumped Teddy Bear’s tummy.
Teddy Bear fell back with a big “Oof!”
Splash splash time with mommy laughed. Teddy Bear laughed too.
Toy stared. Toy’s eyes looked less mean now.
Splash splash time with mommy held out her hand. “Key, please,” she said. “Then you can come splash.”
Toy hugged the key. “Duck wants splash?”
“Yes,” Mommy said. “Duck can sit on the soap boat.”
Toy thought. Then Toy loosened the ribbon and dropped the key into Splash splash time with mommy’s palm.
“Thank you,” she said. Her voice was small but strong.
They reached the big bath door. Click! The key turned.
Warm water sang: shhhh.
Bubbles rose like clouds. Teddy Bear sat safe on a dry towel throne.
Mommy lifted Splash splash time with mommy into the tub. “Ready?”
“Ready!” she said.
Toy floated on the soap boat. “Quack… splash!”
Teddy Bear said, “Captain Duck!”
Splash splash time with mommy splashed once. Then twice. “Splash splash!”
Mommy splashed gently back. “Splash splash time with mommy,” she said.
After the bath, Mommy wrapped her in a big warm towel. Teddy Bear got a tiny towel cape.
Toy rolled up close. “Friend?” Toy asked.
“Friend,” Splash splash time with mommy said.
Mommy opened a small Castle drawer. Inside was a prize: a shiny bath crown with little stars.
“For our brave Ballerina,” Mommy said.
Splash splash time with mommy wore the crown. It felt cool and happy.
She did one last twirl, crown and all. Teddy Bear cheered. Toy quacked a silly song.
And in the Castle, everyone was ready for tomorrow’s splash splash time.
