Mi mariposa Alany and the Stolen Colors

Kids stories

In the Game World, Mi mariposa Alany sees the colors fading. With Phoenix, she starts a simple Color Quest to get the gems back—before a lonely Mummy steals all the brightness.
Mi mariposa Alany and the Stolen Colors

Mi mariposa Alany is a Girl in the Game World. She is small. She is kind. She is brave, even when her knees feel wiggly.

In the Game World, the grass looks like soft green squares. The trees look like tall blocks. The sky is bright, like a big screen.

Today, something is wrong.

The colors are fading. Red looks pale. Blue looks sleepy. Yellow looks like butter that melted.

Mi mariposa Alany pats her cheeks. “Oh no. Colors go bye-bye.”

A warm whoosh swirls down.

Phoenix lands with a little hop. Phoenix is a shiny bird. Phoenix glows like a tiny sun. Phoenix is playful, and also careful.

Phoenix tilts its head. “Peep-peep! We fix it!”

Mi mariposa Alany nods. “Yes. We restore colors.”

They walk on a path made of little stones that click-click.

Ahead is a door in the air. It is a game gate. It blinks.

Behind the gate, a Mummy shuffles. The Mummy is wrapped in dusty cloth. The Mummy is not loud, but it is sneaky. It holds a bag of stolen colors.

The Mummy whispers, “Mine. Mine.”

Mi mariposa Alany feels a tiny scare in her tummy. She holds Phoenix’s warm feather.

Phoenix says, “We can do small steps.”

Mi mariposa Alany takes one small step. “Hello, Mummy.”

The Mummy freezes.

Mi mariposa Alany speaks softly. “You look… lonely.”

The Mummy looks down. It does look lonely. Its bandages droop.

But the bag still leaks gray air. The Game World turns more dull.

Phoenix flaps once. “No gray! We need colors back.”

Mi mariposa Alany thinks. She is clever, like a little puzzle solver.

She points to a bright button on the ground. It says: START.

Mi mariposa Alany smiles. “Game World likes buttons.”

She presses START.

Bing!

A gentle voice in the air says, “Color Quest: Find three Color Gems.”

Three arrows appear: red, blue, yellow.

Phoenix giggles. “Treasure hunt!”

They run to the Red Ramp. It is a slope like a slide. At the top sits a red gem, like a candy.

Mi mariposa Alany reaches. “Got it!”

The red gem makes her hair ribbon turn bright red.

Next, they hop across Blue Blocks. Splash! A blue gem is under a clear cube.

Phoenix warms the cube with a soft glow. The cube opens like a flower.

Mi mariposa Alany picks the blue gem. “Thank you, Phoenix.”

Now, Yellow Yard.

The Mummy shuffles after them. “Mine…”

Mi mariposa Alany stops. She does not run now. She turns around.

She holds up her empty hands. “Mummy, you can play too. But no stealing.”

The Mummy blinks.

Phoenix chirps, “Share?”

The Mummy’s shoulders sink. It taps its own chest. “Cold.”

Phoenix floats closer. “Warm!”

Phoenix gives a tiny feather-flick. A little spark lands on the Mummy’s bandage. The Mummy does not burn. It just feels cozy.

The Mummy sighs. “Okay… help.”

Together they find the yellow gem inside a box with a riddle picture: a sun.

Mi mariposa Alany points. “Sun!”

The box opens. Yellow gem!

Bing-bong!

The three gems spin in the air. They shoot color beams across the Game World.

Green becomes green again. Pink pops. Purple dances.

The Mummy opens its bag. The stolen colors fly out like happy birds.

The gate in the air turns into a bright chest.

Click!

Inside is a real treasure: a Rainbow Cape with tiny pixel stars.

Phoenix chirps, “For you!”

Mi mariposa Alany puts it on. It swishes. It sparkles.

She laughs. “I am Rainbow Girl!”

The Mummy claps with soft bandage hands. “Friend.”

Mi mariposa Alany waves. “Friend.”

Phoenix circles them like a warm lamp.

And in the Game World, the colors stay bright, bright, bright.
