Aviahs journey is a little girl. She is small, but brave. She likes to look and listen.
One sunny day, Aviahs journey goes to the zoo. The gate is big. The air smells like popcorn.
She holds her little bag. Inside is her favorite red bow. It is soft. It is her treasure.
At the zebra place, she claps. “Hi, stripes!”
Then she looks in her bag.
“Oh no,” she says. “Bow gone.”
Her eyes feel wet.
A kind Princess comes near. The Princess wears a simple crown and a warm smile.
“Hello, little friend,” says the Princess. “What happened?”
“My red bow… lost,” says Aviahs journey.
The Princess bends down. “We will find it. We can do it together.”
Aviahs journey takes a slow breath. “Okay.”
They walk. Step, step.
By the tall giraffe, the Princess points. “Look up.”
Aviahs journey looks up. The giraffe chews. Chew, chew.
“Bow?” asks Aviahs journey.
The Princess laughs softly. “Not there. But good looking.”
They go to the monkey house. A monkey goes “Ooh-ooh!”
Aviahs journey giggles. “Funny!”
The Princess says, “Let’s listen. Do you hear anything?”
They listen. Quiet. Then… a tiny “peep-peep.”
“Peep?” says Aviahs journey.
They follow the sound to a small bench. Under the bench is a little bird. It hops. It looks scared.
And next to it is something red.
“My bow!” Aviahs journey whispers.
But the bird is right beside it.
Aviahs journey feels a little scared. She stays gentle.
“It’s okay, bird,” she says. “No scare.”
The Princess nods. “Slow hands. Soft voice.”
Aviahs journey takes one tiny step. The bird flutters, then stops.
“Hungry?” asks Aviahs journey.
The Princess finds a little cup of seeds from a nearby keeper. “Here,” she says.
Aviahs journey holds the seeds low. The bird pecks. Peck, peck.
The bird looks happy now.
Aviahs journey reaches for her red bow. She picks it up.
“Thank you,” she tells the bird.
The bird goes “peep!” like it understands.
Aviahs journey ties the bow on her hair. It feels right again.
The Princess claps. “You were brave and kind.”
Aviahs journey smiles big. “We did it!”
They walk to a little shop. The Princess says, “A finder gets a prize.”
She gives Aviahs journey a small gold sticker that shines, and a tiny plush zebra.
“Treasure!” says Aviahs journey.
On the way out, Aviahs journey waves at the animals.
“Bye, zoo! Bye, Princess!”
Her red bow is safe. Her plush zebra is snug in her arms. And her heart feels warm and strong.
