Amri Baby Savior and the Happy Bell

Kids stories

Little Knight Amri Baby Savior helps Prince find the Happy Bell and teaches Sun Knight how to share.
Amri Baby Savior and the Happy Bell

In the bright Kingdom, little Knight Amri Baby Savior wore a round blue helmet. It had a tiny silver star on top. Amri was small, kind, and very brave. He helped ducklings cross puddles. He shared apples with ponies. He always said, “We can help together.”

One warm morning, Prince came running from the castle garden. His gold cape was muddy. His eyes were wide.

“Amri! Help, please!” cried Prince. “My little bell is gone. It is the Happy Bell. When it rings, all the babies in the Kingdom know it is snack time.”

Amri gently held Prince’s hand. “Do not worry. We will find it.”

They followed a trail of yellow sparkles past the red gate, over a soft green hill, and beside the sleepy river. At the end of the trail stood Sun Knight. His armor shone like a big, hot sun. On his head was a helmet with long golden rays.

“I have the Happy Bell,” said Sun Knight. He held it high. Ding! The bell made a little sound. “I wanted a bell for my own sunny tower. I did not ask. That was not kind.”

Prince looked sad. “The Kingdom needs it.”

Sun Knight folded his arms. “Then you must cross my wobbly bridge. It is very high.”

Amri looked at the bridge. It went over a tiny stream, not a scary river. Still, it wiggled left and right. Amri’s knees felt shaky. He took one slow breath.

“I can be brave slowly,” he whispered.

Prince nodded. “I will come too.”

Step. Wobble. Step. Wobble.

A small sheep was stuck under the bridge. “Baa! My wool is caught!” it said.

Amri stopped. “First, we help.” He knelt down and carefully pulled away a thorn. The sheep jumped up. “Baa-baa, thank you!”

The sheep gave Amri a fluffy white wool ball. Prince had an idea. “We can hold the wool ball between us. It will help us stay close.”

So Amri held one side. Prince held the other. Step. Wobble. Step. Wobble. Together, they crossed the bridge.

Sun Knight blinked. “You helped the sheep, even when you wanted the bell.”

“Yes,” said Amri. “A knight helps.”

Sun Knight looked down at his shining boots. “I wanted everyone to look at me. But now I feel lonely in my tall tower.”

Prince smiled. “You can come to snack time. But please give back the bell.”

Sun Knight’s face grew soft. “I am sorry.” He placed the Happy Bell in Amri’s hands.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

At once, the Kingdom woke with happy sounds. Babies clapped. Birds twirled. The castle cooks brought out warm honey buns, apple slices, and little cups of milk.

King and Queen gave Amri a treasure chest. Inside was a new silver shield with a blue star, a red ribbon, and three bright golden buttons.

“For Knight Amri Baby Savior,” said the King. “A brave helper.”

Amri shared one golden button with Prince and one with Sun Knight. “Friends share,” he said.

Sun Knight laughed. “Tomorrow, I will bring sunflowers for everyone!”

Prince rang the bell once more. Ding!

Amri looked at his new shield. He felt proud, but not too proud. He had crossed a wobbly bridge. He had helped a sheep. He had made a new friend.

Then he ate a honey bun. It was the best treasure of all.
