Alijah is a brave little superhero who lives in a tall stone castle by a bright blue sea. Each morning Alijah stretches arms wide and smiles at the sun. Alijah wears a shining star badge and a soft blue cape. One day Queen Ruby comes to the castle gate. Queen Ruby looks sad. She lost her golden crown in the royal garden. She asks Alijah to help. Alijah nods and promises to find the lost crown.
Alijah steps outside. The heavy gate opens slowly with a creak. A gentle white horse stands waiting at the gate. Horse is kind and calm. Horse lowers its head and neighs softly. Alijah pats the horse and whispers, ‘Thank you, friend.’ Together they follow hoofprints in the soft green grass. They pass tall oak trees and bright wildflowers. In the air small bees hum a gentle song. They find a tiny golden leaf on the path.
Suddenly a soft voice drifts through the trees. It is Ghost. Ghost is shy but friendly. Ghost floats near a broken fountain. Ghost says, ‘I saw the crown! It flew this way!’ Alijah and Horse thank Ghost. Ghost shines with a pale glow. Ghost joins the team. Now three friends search together. They follow faint sparkles on the grass.
Dark clouds gather overhead. Storm Chaser appears in a swirl of wind. Storm Chaser wears a bright yellow jacket and fancy goggles. Storm Chaser laughs and touches a raindrop. Storm Chaser says, ‘I can chase storms and help you fly through winds!’ Alijah smiles and says, ‘Welcome, friend!’ Storm Chaser lifts them gently into the air. Horse floats with Ghost close by. They soar above trees and roofs.
High on a distant hill they find the Rebel Leader. Rebel Leader wears ruffled clothes and scowls at the sky. Rebel Leader holds the golden crown in both hands. He wants to keep it on his own crooked head. Alijah feels brave but calm. Alijah flies forward and holds out a hand. ‘Please return the crown,’ Alijah says kindly.
Rebel Leader grunts. Horse steps close. Ghost makes a soft glow. Storm Chaser blows a little swirl of wind that tickles Rebel Leader’s nose. The Rebel Leader giggles and his scowl melts. He lifts the crown and offers it back. ‘You are kind and brave,’ he says quietly. He steps aside and smiles. Alijah gently takes the golden crown and places it on Queen Ruby’s head.
Queen Ruby claps and smiles wide. ‘Thank you, dear friends!’ she says softly. She gives each helper a small treasure chest filled with bright star coins and sugar berries. Alijah’s chest shines with star light. Horse nuzzles Alijah. Ghost laughs like soft bells. Storm Chaser spins in a happy twirl. On the way home Alijah holds the shining chest and thinks of friendship. Back at the castle they share sweet sugar berries and laugh under twinkling stars. Everyone feels happy and safe. The castle glows softly in the night as Alijah and friends rest and dream sweet dreams.
